Middle School Admissions

January 11, 2021

Grade 5 Families families,

You can get started by visiting schools.nyc.gov/middle to learn more about the process, and MySchools.nyc to set up your MySchools account to be ready when the application period opens. Do not hesitate to reach out to the school counselor, Ms. Marzello — she will be your guide throughout the process. You can also contact a Family Welcome Center (learn how at schools.nyc.gov/WelcomeCenters) or call 718-935-2009.

A letter from the Chancellor about Middle School Applications can be found in multiple languages at: https://www.schools.nyc.gov/about-us/news/chancellor-s-message-for-families.

THURSDAY, JAN. 14, 2021 @ 3:30pm

Ms. Marzello, the School Guidance Counselor, will be holding a Virtual Parent Workshop where you can learn about the online Middle School Application Process for the 2021-2022 School Year. During the workshop, parents can learn helpful resources to support their Middle School Application process and ask questions. Information can be found in your 5th-grade student's Google Classroom.

In this video, learn about who can apply to middle school in New York City.
